Neptune Pacific strengthens Central Pacific capacity with fleet expansion

5 Oct 2026

Neptune Pacific is pleased to announce a fleet expansion, strengthening its capacity into the Central Pacific. The ICS Silver Lining will be joining the fleet in November 2026 to service the MICROPAC trade from December, operating between Kiribati, Fiji, and the Marshall Islands.

The Southern Pearl will then redeploy to the Intrapac service, calling Tuvalu and Wallis and Futuna. The combined effect of these changes provides increased capacity and greater operational flexibility for the Central Pacific region.

The Capitaine Wallis will remain in our fleet, to enable operational flexibility, cover project cargo, and support additional capacity in and around the Central Pacific. As one of our original vessels, she has been a hardworking and valuable asset throughout her service.

Commenting on this latest fleet expansion, Kim A. Kristensen, Neptune Pacific President, states, "This is an important milestone in the continued growth of our regional network, where container shipping plays a vital role in enabling trade. Our ongoing investment and expansion will continue to empower the island nations and communities we serve.”

This addition is part of a broader development of Neptune Pacific’s network, with further initiatives underway to enhance its services and connections across the Pacific.

Sailing details will be confirmed via our regular schedule release in the coming days.
